If you are referring someone else to come here you can download the Referral Form here:
Alternatively you can request further information by letter or by phoning us on 01732 870279. When you have read the information, if you are still interested in coming to Pilsdon at Malling you should write to the Guardian, describing your circumstances and asking to come to the Community for a trial visit of three days. If you have reading and writing difficulties, you can do what is necessary by phone and with a referrer's help.
Trial visit
If all goes well and we feel that you are likely to fit into the Community and contribute to its life, a date will be fixed for your trial visit: three nights stay at no cost other than transport. We prefer you to make your own way to us by public transport. We can pick you up from the West Malling rail station if you have heavy luggage or we can give you directions for the 5-10 minute walk.
By the time of your trial visit, we will have taken up references. One of these will be a medical reference. If you are on prescribed medication this should be described, giving the reasons for the medication. Your doctor will also be expected to give a prognosis and reasons why the sheltered community life of Pilsdon at Malling is likely to suit you (this information is required to justify our Housing Benefit application.)
