Community members
Community members are those who ultimately hold the responsibility for the running of the community, working with the volunteers, who have a more supporting role. The community members invite others to come and share their lives and their home for however long is needed.

Community members take part in all aspects of Pilsdon life, from cooking and cleaning and other daily chores to leading services and looking after the animals. Each member is expected to take an area or areas of responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the community from day to day.
Life in Pilsdon is never dull - each day is different and unique. Despite the lack of a nine-to-five structure, the meals and services offer a framework from which we build and live, creating our own rhythm. One member, when asked what she does, answered "Something else", meaning that when she sets out to do something she always finds herself doing something else!
Pilsdon at Malling reflects all aspects of life and society, across ages, beliefs, cultures and races. We welcome all to join us however briefly.

If you do feel that this life is for you, please contact us and do visit us to test your vocation for the future.
